About Us
Welcome to Makers Academy! A hybrid homeschool model that blends the best of both worlds - the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling with the structure, support, and community of a classical and Charlotte Mason education.
Our program meets in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We begin the day with First Fruits, a time of student led worship, giving our first part of the day to God. Parents are welcome to stay for First Fruits, but then they drop off their students and pick them up at the end of the day.

Our Model
-
Flexible Learning - Families have the freedom to homeschool while benefiting from scheduled in-person classes and academy lesson plans.
-
Supportive Community - Students build meaningful relationships with teachers, peers, and the Makers Academy families.
-
Classical and Charlotte Mason Education - A time-tested approach that blends classical foundations with Charlotte Mason's focus on real life, nature, and a love of learning.
-
Personalized Pathways - Each student's unique journey is valued and encouraged, with a focus on discovering and using their God-given gifts.
-
Schedule - Two in-person days at the Academy and two or three days at home.
-
Shared Partnership - The Academy provides the academic framework, instruction, planning, and accountability. Parents provide the consistent at-home support and follow-through that make the hybrid model successful.
